British Style Collective presented by The Clothes Show, in association with Alcatel is on its way. Taking place from 7-9 July, British Style Collective will embrace some of Liverpool’s most iconic landmarks as part of a citywide event, boasting trend-led catwalks, unrivalled shopping and exclusive stage content featuring some of the most sought-after names in fashion, beauty and entertainment.

There will be exciting collaborations with Liverpool ONE, Graduate Fashion Week, and Wayne Hemingway’s new fringe event – Fine Tuned; while Oasis, Monsoon and Elemis lead the brand line-up for the shopping halls. River Island will also be bringing their Style Studio experts along with a sneak peak of their new collection and exclusive offers!

Whether in search of summer wardrobe must-haves or the latest hair and beauty products, you can expect a truly immersive shopping experience.

River Island, Oasis, Elemis, Andrew Collinge, Monsoon and Accessorize will join a line-up of more than 300 high-street, online and boutique brands at in the shopping halls at Exhibition Centre Liverpool. A whole host of new and luxurious feature areas will add to the shopping buzz, including the Expert Studio and Digital Catwalk and Bubbles Bar courtesy of the show’s official drinks partner, Halewood Wines & Spirits.  Liverpool Gin will host a pop-up bar at St George’s Hall in the picturesque surrounds of St Johns Gardens and there’ll be a stylish gin garden at the Hilton Hotel.

At the heart of the action, will be the iconic Alcatel Fashion Arena for two show-stopping performances each day at Echo Arena Liverpool.  Flawlessly styled by the TIGI International Creative Team models and dancers will take to the stage for an hour-long fashion-meets-music spectacle: Rock the Runway.


 

The arena will also showcase the hottest looks on the high-street this summer in a dedicated trends report brought to you by Liverpool ONE, where you can shop the looks straight from the catwalk. The super stylish shopping destination will also play home to exclusive pop-ups, in-store events and master classes across the three days. From high-street to high-end, the breath-taking architecture and finesse of St George’s Hall will offer the perfect setting for designer catwalks and trend presentations. Fashion stylist and broadcaster Antonia O’Brien will host a series of Q&As and ‘audiences with’ industry experts from across the fashion and beauty realm, including Glamour’s editor Jo Elvin. Designer showcases from the likes of London label Sorapol and Liverpool’s very own Philip Armstrong will take to the runway of St George’s Hall, followed by live interviews with the creative masterminds behind the collections, hosted by Hilary Alexander OBE. Albert Dock Liverpool will pay homage to both iconic styles of a bygone era and future trends as Hemingway Design – founded by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway – bring their newly created festival to British Style Collective, Fine Tuned. You can expect fiercely independent designer makers, street food vendors, classic motors, vintage traders, and performers. The show’s Creative Hub will nod to the next generation with a one-day programme designed to inspire, nurture and educate budding young talent from across the country.

Taking over the city’s Baltic Triangle (Camp and Furnace, Constellations and Great Baltic Warehouse), four ‘Imagination Rooms’ will showcase graduate catwalk collections, design installations, creative talks and a behind- the-scenes look at the breadth of career opportunities in the industry, led by Professor Caryn Franklin MBE. Adding to the jam-packed education programme, Graduate Fashion Week will bring their acclaimed Gala Show to The Creative Hub of British Style Collective, offering aspiring designers a first-hand glimpse at the award-winning graduate collections of 2017.

Reading like a who’s who in the world of fashion, British Style Collective in association with Alcatel is set to be the most stylish soiree of the year. From the south...

Virgin Trains operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street (with a journey time of just over two hours). Other long-distance rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station.

ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10 minute walk) or catch the CityLink Route C4 (7am – 8pm) directly to ACC Liverpool. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your ticket.

Flying into Liverpool John Lennon Airport...

A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of ACC Liverpool.

Most Liverpool city centre bound buses will call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is only a five minute walk to ACC Liverpool.

The CityLink Route C4 bus links Queen Square bus station, James Street rail station and Liverpool ONE Bus Station to ACC Liverpool. CityLink Route C4 operates every 20 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays, between 7am – 8pm, with a maximum fare of £1 per journey. Merseytravel prepaid tickets, National Concessionary bus passes and Arriva day tickets are all valid on this service.

For all car journeys it's best to follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the Waterfront. These signs are visible on the major routes into the city. Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is situated on the Kings Dock directly adjacent to the south side of the Albert Dock. Upon arrival, the Kings Dock entrance is clearly sign posted.

From the North...

Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to end of M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the city wide 'available spaces' signage. 

From the South...

Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and following signs for Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the city wide 'available spaces' signage.

The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park has 1,600 secure, covered spaces, and there are more car parks within five minutes’ walk. The Waterfront Car Park is signposted “Waterfront” on the city-wide “available parking spaces” signs. These signs provide live information as to the number of available spaces. Fees operate on a sliding scale as follows:

£2 for up to 1 hour 
£5 for up to 2 hours 
£7 for up to 5 hours 
£10 for up to 9 hours 
£15 for up to 24 hours
